Be Cautious of Chemical Treatments for Acne, They May Prove Harmful
In our day to day life, we use many products especially cosmetics without knowing that what might be their constituents. Many of you may be shocked to know that Lanolin is the most common ingredient that is used in various cosmetic products. Lanolin is the oil extracted from the skin of the sheep i.e. wool.

As you know that there are fatty acids present in oil, similarly lanolin also has fatty acids in it which tend to exasperate acne in the skin of those persons who have a genetic tendency to be acne prone. Lanolin derivatives like etoxylated lanolin and acetylated lanolin are harmful to the acne victims and can worsen their condition. So whenever you would use the lanolin derivative(s) just keep the above mentioned fact in your mind.
Many of us blindly follow the advertisements and run after cosmetics as they have magical powers. Of course the products are effective but one should not forget that the skin texture and types differ from individual to individual. A cosmetic that may suit your friend does not necessarily suit you as well.
So, it is highly recommended to you especially if you are an acne sufferer that you must avoid these harmful chemicals disguised in your cosmetics as instead of any help they will only aggravate your acne problem.
